Feature request: Scheduled messages

Hi,

Is there a plan for delayed/scheduled messages? Can this be included in Simple SMS Messenger as well as option to backup scheduled messages as well? Thank you.

I have discovered something very nasty when it comes to Google Messages program: if you haven't exchanged any SMS messages with the recipient, scheduled messages will be excluded from the backup. In fact they will be deleted. I can confirm this on QKSMS program as well, scheduled messages are not being included in the backup. You need to exchange a message or two before above-mentioned programs will include scheduled programs in the backup.

I am mentioning this here in case this feature gets added to the Simple SMS Messenger program. If possible, import/export should take scheduled messages into account, no matter if they are the only ones in the conversation or not. Thank you!

I use Textra SMS app as this app provides scheduled messages. After using many simple apps I would love to switch to simple sms but I use scheduled messages in a regular basis. So please consider addind this feature. Thx

Long press the send button to activate schedule send. Export/backup not yet supported.

Greta. I tested the test apk and this works super. The only thing is, it is not self-explaning. Therefore you have to know that you have to long press the send button. Once you know, it' super. If you don't know, you miss a very cool feature. Maybe a extra button or may at the plus item this should be visible. Many thanks for addind this feature :-)

it has been added into the FAQ, will see if it needs some UI indication. I dont want to flood the UI too much and I dont really expect too many people using scheduled messages.
