Messages not shown on the main application screen
Hello, Nice spirit in your application (no tracker) this is why it is worth paying some money. Android 8.0 SMS v5.9.3 I installed SMS Messenger but... -On the main page "SMS Messenger", it says "No stored conversations have been found", so nothing is shown, while I have conversations from the previous installed SMS application. -When I write a message, I select somebody and then its previous conversations are shown. So there is a problem in the application first screen showing previous messages. Thank you for your help Patrice
try reinstalling the app. Do you have a rooted device, or one modified in a similar way?
Thank you for your answer. I did reinstall 3 times Yes my device is rooted (Huawei P20 lite)
do other downloaded apps work well? I mean really downloaded ones, not preinstalled.
Hello, Of course other SMS apps are working, otherwise I would not have post here :=) I'm using right now Q**** which is another open source/ethical application.
For the story, I had to change the preinstalled SMS app because it asked me to share my contacts with Linkedin, right in the address field, I could select yes by mistake, and.....I did not like this at all. This is why I respect what you do, we need more people like you.

Same problem here. Honor 5C Android 7 emui 5.x no sms shown. Getting verification sms from Paypal, but can't see them on simple sms main screen. I see the notification, and simple sms messenger is set to default app for sms, but can't access the messages.
