Dual Sim, same provider l-mobi, retrieve number information on both sim's will group the messages under one sim-number[sim 1 or 2]

Hi there,

I just noticed that when I retrieve both numbers of my sim cards, in my dual-sim setup, that they will be grouped under one sim[xx] notation. However, this is a cosmetic issue. I tested this with deleting the conversation, that is coming from an alias-service-number-alike, that the sim[xx] is correctly recognised by the application.

So the grouping of this kind of messages is recognised correctly, but falsely shown in the application that the same simcard is receiving that message.

my testings were: [between testings, remove whole conversation in the sms application]

  1. get sms sim1, get sms sim2; both shown under sim1 [notation]
  2. get sms sim2, get sms sim1; both shown under sim2 [notation]
  3. get sms sim1, shown under sim1 [notation], delete conversation, get sms sim2, shown under sim2 [notation].

Hopefully this clarifies my experienced issue.

Thanks in advance and with kind regards,

Pieter Joan

PS. this issue might also be happening in the Phone-application, but testing there is more difficult, but possible. It might be the same issue. [When my number swapping issues, with the phone company have been resolved, I would be able to test this issue in the phone app. I once got called by them, and the wrong number[SIMxx] showed up. But I have to verify if this is a human or app-issue.]

PS2. I have two sims of the same provider, with the same labeling, an MNVO in the Netherlands.
