Allow to sort notes by dragging them

It is very inconvenient to move existing note: I have to delete the old one having its text cut and then create a new one and paste the text there.

why cant you simply rename it?

I needn't rename it. For example, I just want to make it the first in the list, because it is the last now and I have to scroll to the right multiple times.

I dont really want to complicate the app with reordering for now, maybe in the future. The notes are sorted alphabetically, so just prefix it with an "a" or something :)

I am unsure if I understand @trubitsyn s issue in the right way. Is it about sorting different notes or about sorting items of one single note? If you are talking about an option to e.g. sort check-list items manually by dragging them, I think this would be an excellent feature improvement on this already great app.

One example for a usecase during which I miss that functionality: Say you have a Note 'todos' of Type Checklist, adding items along the way. This feature would allow you to sort your individual todo-items every now and again. If I had an option to manually move those items I could: A) prioritize them B) move all unchecked items up higher than the already solved items

@aunwin this specific issue is about sorting (ordering) different notes. You may consider opening a new issue about sorting check-list items - it will help to keep track of your suggestion.

I am highly interested in being able to quickly sort notes by the titles. Specifically being able to sort by last edited, and by name.

An option to have the last edited note placed first, and then everything after that sorted by name would also be highly appreciated.

It would make it SO much easier to sift through stuff.

Best would be to add option in settings "sort mode" and default should stay alphabetical sort imo.
