Display incorrect song name in Notification player
After clicking on the next button it always shows the title of the previous song
After updating recently. I also have this issue. (Galaxy A32, Android 12). Im using simple music player 5.16.2 I first noticed it with the 5.16.1 update. I click next and it still shows the previous song.
This used to happen to me too and I tried fixing it when I did those notification-related changes and I haven't seen it since. Maybe it's not yet fixed. Can you guys check this using some other third-party music player? Could be a device-specific thing as I remember this happening mostly on my Samsung M51 and you guys are also using Samsung devices
I'm also experiencing the same problem. The song displayed in the lockscreen notification is delayed (shows the name of the previous song) and this problem continues when I skip to the next song, the name updates to the song I was listening to previously. And I don't have a samsung mobile. This problem is very annoying. I however cannot reproduce this reliably, I don't know what is causing it.
Please share device info (vendor, android version, etc). We are working on improving the way notifications (among other things) are handled.
Same, facing this issue in both lock screen and unlocked state.
Using custom rom.
Realme GT Neo 2, Android 13.
Edit : Pausing the song changes the name to correct one.
