Exporting edited images wil stay at 0% indefinitely.
When making any edit to an image then tapping to export, the top half of the edited images will display with the export status showing 0%. It will never finished the export.
I have this issue this the latest device upgrade from Pixel 6 to Pixel 8 Pro. I think it is safe to label this as [Bug].
Is there any more details I could provide to help someone fixing this.
- I use the app version 6.28.1
- on a Google Pixel 8 Pro
- running Android 14 (AP2A.240805.005)
It kills the use of the app for me, since cutting and exporting images is one of the main activities I do.
I switched to a fork of this project called fossify and did not encounter the bug there.
I have as well. But Fossify does not have the advanced editor which is very well liked (when it works.)

Also having this issue on Pixel 8 Pro specifically. Didn't encounter it on my old Pixel 7
Same here on Pixel 9 Pro. Please fix this!
No one is working on this software since 2023-09. Give up on this.
