Playing a video causes the app to crash.

This happens whether I click on a video try and watch it or if I scroll over to a video and the preview begins playing. The video will play for maybe a second or two, and then the app freezes up. I have to lock and unlock my phone screen just to close the app and restart it, because it causes my whole screen to become unresponsive. This bug began maybe a few months ago, I don't remember the exact update that caused this bug, but it started fairly recently.

I'm experiencing this bug on my LG K20 running Android 7. I'm currently using version 6.28.1 of the app.
