Bug - Password protected folder not working after initial time entering

Hello,

Thank you for this great app!

It is great you can lock folders but when I added a 4 digit pin code to the folder it only worked one time, my steps:

  1. I set the code.
  2. Then I tried to enter the folder and it prompted me for the pin code.
  3. Now it never prompts me for the code, even after a phone restart. I can just enter the folder each time I try (and it definitely is locked as it still has the lock icon on it).

@realquink I can't reproduce it

I even tried restarting my phone, deleting a cache etc.

Only if I delete the app data, then ofc the lock is also deleted

Please

  1. Add your android version, android UI version, app version.

  2. Did you try it reproduce it for second time with another folder?

  3. Add [BUG] before your issue title.

Thanks for the response. I did some more testing which I will note in #2:

  1. Droid 12, App is 6.28.1, not sure where UI version is, I am running GrapheneOS
  2. Yes and it worked fine. Then I realized the difference is that my locked folder had sub folders in it. So it seems if there are sub folders, then locking the parent won't work perhaps. But I was able to individually lock each sub folder inside the parent folder. Then each of these prompted for the PIN code.
  3. Done

@realquink Finally, I can reproduce it.

"Group direct subfolders" is also important for this bug to happen (can you copy in that view mode?)

folder with sub folders in it + Group direct subfolders = lock doesnt work

Oh not sure what you mean about "group direct subfolders"? You can group them in the app somehow? I just had a folder in my phone and then in that folder 4 more with pics in each of those 4 folders.

Not sure I follow? You want me to try and copy or move an image to a grouped sub folder?
