VIEW intent from Total Commander 3.42d broken, VIEW intent from other file managers works fine - cache prevents viewing actual version of image.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. While in Total Commander, long-tap an image file to view, use "Open with", choose Simple Gallery Pro (6.26.8).
  2. Edit the same image with some other tool (paint on it, etc.) and save changes (file's name must remain unchanged).
  3. Repeat step 1.

Instead of the latest, edited version, you'll still see the old, original, unmodified one - until you clear Simple Gallery Pro's cache.

When saving, Simple Gallery automatically adds _1 to the filename. Have you removed it to overwrite the original file?

@Aga-C I used Krita to edit the file. The filename was the same. Also, I have done multiple tests, for which I kept two versions of the file (original and modified) in two separate folders, with a tree like this...

main.png (file in root or "target" folder) | L modified / main.png L original / main.png

Then, I copied one of the files interchangeably, as root's main.png file, overwriting it each time. Then I kept trying to view root's main.png file with Total Commander's "Open with" action, to see whether the modification is reflected in Simple Gallery or not.
