Simple-Gallery Trim creates larger file with worse quality

I just trimmed a few seconds from a video and noticed that the trimmed version is not only 2MB larger, but there is a very noticable drop in quality

What command/library do you use? Do you use ffmpeg?

@OmlineEditor SMTP apps are dead. They were sold to ad company. F-droid versions are still safe. And there is already fork https://github.com/FossifyOrg. First release should be in 2-3 weeks.
