Widget: Refresh photo on click

Currently it takes ages until the widget refreshes and shows changed content of the selected folder. It would be nice if the widget gets refreshed/updated when you click on it (instead of viewing the app/folder).

There could also be a new setting to let the user decide if he wants to 1) refresh on click or 2) open app on click.
