Opening in external app then come back don't come back to the last seen photo (but the first photo of current dir)

Hi, sorry if this is a duplicate, I searched but didn't found another issue for this

This issue is quite "random": I can't reproduce it each time, it appears to be dependent on how memory the external app is consuming

After editing an image in external app (using share from image menu in top right, then "share"), closing this external app and coming back to the simple gallery, this last seen image isn't the displayed image anymore, but the first image of current directory, or in some cases another one)

I know all of this is not very exploitable but I took some time trying to find a method to reproduce it with 100% success but I didn't found. I reproduced it of course but not all the times.

I am the only one that noticed this ?

You mean at the fullscreen view? Are you launching the app casually with the app icon, then clicking on the folder and file thumbnail to get to the fullscreen view? Or you launch the gallery in some other way, through some other app? What app and OS version are you using at all?

Yes I'm launching the app casually, using the app icon, not opened by any other app:

• I launch the app, this brings me to the "folders view" (i choose to use this view and not the "all in one place" view)
• I click on a folder to enter a folder
• I click on a picture to open it fullscreen
• keeping the fullscreen image view, I go to another photo (using finger gestures to navigate to next / previous photo)
• when I found a photo I want to edit (usually with snapseed) I use "edit" button
• I edit my photo, save it and close snapseed
• I come back to Simple Gallery but at this point, sometimes, the current photo I see in fullscreen is not the photo I edited anymore, but another one

What app and OS version are you using at all?

• last version from F-droid, ie v 6.22.0 pro
• OS: Android 10 (Huawei P30 lite)
