Reload spinner appearing on long click

I use SFM on GrapheneOS, so I don't know if it's just an issue with the OS or if Stock Android has the same problem, but if I select the top element in any folder by a long click, the reload spinner comes down and just stays there until I do something.

I tested it on another Smartphone now (Samsung Galaxy S8) with the normal Android 9, same issue.

it was already reported somewhere, not sure where now, maybe gallery. Im aware of it, it happens in most apps though.
