Root - some folders are empty, such as config

Open joeyLaus opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Ive noticed that if i want to go into the folder config under root, it is empty, shows 0.

As far as i know this folder isnt really empty, because there are network files in there. If i search with esfileexplorer i will see everything.

I also see other folders under Root where they are empty. This has to do with permissions im guessing. So app doesn't really have root privileges it seems.

This is on LineageOS 14.1

Moto G5 Plus, stock Android 7.1, rooted via Magisk.

When I open the Root folder, no files are visible at all. Drag-refresh is instant and doesn't make files appear.

This is my impression as well. I can see most (all?) folders and files, but the files are all shown as 0 bytes long.
