Call hangs up without pressing the button

Every other call hangs up without pressing the hang up red button.

I'm running it on android 11.

what app version you have? Does it hang up right after accepting or randomly?

I'm running the 5.17.1 version. The call terminates randomly. I've tried experimenting to see if it was my face disconnecting the call but I don't think it is. It happens with a frequency of 4 times every 10 calls I would say.

doesnt it happen with other Phone apps too?

I've reverted to the stock dialer to test and it hasn't happened since. I noticed that this started happening when I started using Simple-Dialer.

try some other app too, not the preinstalled one
