Number missing when editing a contact through Dialer

Hello guys,

I have a contact with two numbers (mobile and work). When I want to edit a contact through the Dialer app, a number of the contact is mising. If this is done directly through the Contacts app, this is not happening.

I'm using version 5.17.8 of Dialer, version 6.22.3 Pro of Contacts, both on Android 11.

can you somehow reproduce it reliably? It might be related to the contact being present on all those socials.

I just tested every contact I have (88), and two contacts showed this issue. Both have an image added, but that is probably coincidence...

Now that you mention it, the number missing when editing actually shows up in the details window a short time later, along with Signal & Telegram. Here's a screencap when opening the contact details. The right is displayed about half a second later than the left side:

I've also noticed other things while testing:

• The affected contact has one, the other contact has two email addresses. Email addresses are also not shown when editing from the Dialer app.
• Contrary to editing by pressing on the pencil icon, if I click on my account email address (between "Coworkers" & "Signal"), the edit view shows both numbers and email addresses.

this happens to me with the contacts-app not just the dialer:

• 2 phone numbers in the contacts info view
• 1 number in the edit view

also:

• after deleting the 1 shown number in the edit view, it is still shown in the info view
