I added an image to my contacts and the size of backup grow by 3KB. why images get so much smaller at export? this makes the app not useful for export.

modern phones (well not even modern ones actually) have so much space that even if a user like me that has 100S of contacts can accept a export 100MB contacts export file.

please consider adding the photo untouched ,or at least resize to a better quality. in other backup apps, some don't have this issue and some do. but they are not opensource like yours.

I tested several apps to backup contacts and keep reasonable image size. The only one that worked is super backup:
