Very Slow

My database has 2000 contacts. In the notes fields of some of them are paragraphs of text.

Main activity requires five seconds to load.

Activity unexpectedly close while search for contact. Also when using Group selection feature.

Delay loading the whole database into the RAM. Perhaps implement intelligent default search feature. Implement rich advanced search feature.

Experiencing glitchy behavior seemingly as a result of a large number of contacts on app version v6.22.4 on Android 13 (LineageOS 20). No prior app version has been installed on device, FWIW.

Have between 1000-2000 contacts and semi-regularly experience an issue where a contact will be called twice (that is, two instances of the phone call will initiate almost simultaneously) after tapping on a contact a few times due to the lag in responsiveness which seems to be from the number of contacts.

I've tested on the identical phone, OS and app version on a clean OS install but with instead only a dozen contacts and this behavior isn't present (and there's no lag in the app).

When this dual call issue occurs the recipient of the call will receive two calls overlapping and hanging up on one can sometimes answer the other call, or other odd behavior. On the caller side it also has two calls initiated. It's odd.

Edit: should also note that none of the contacts have images associated with them and were originally imported to the app via a VCF file.

Edit 2: also when the VCF was initially imported I selected the storage option of 'Phone storage (not visible to other apps)' rather than 'Device' storage, so only Simple Tools apps have visibility of the contacts.
