Hi there.

Problem: On my device, I can not find the option to save the contacts to the SIM-Card.

Infos: When I started the app, I reserved the request that the app want's access to the Contacts. I granted that.

Version : 6.15.0 Pro (from F-Droid)

if you click on the bottom field at the Contact creation screen, what appears? It should list the available contact source like your email, Phone, SIM etc.

When I try to create the contact, I have the option to save the contact to my two email accounts and to the Phone storage (not visible by other apps). The option to save it to the SIM card is not available.

do you see it in any other downloaded contacts app? Do you have any contact stored on your SIM already?

Ive had the same issue ever since i got a new phone. Oppo A52 with android 11.1... no device contact recognition and no sim access... I was able to use a pair of old apps for importing and exporting (separate apps) contacts to device from fdroid. But for editing or creating new ones im restricted to google contacts or other ad and tracker invasive apps. When i brought the issue up it was closed, seemed relevant to me but didnt seem to be to the devs apparently. The dialer app works fine with on device contacts once on the device, think it couldnt handle sim ones though. Is a shame, was my favoured suite of apps back on my cheap Chinese cubot with android 7.1.1, now its limited in functionality. My options are gmail, messanger or on device only readable to other simple suite apps which doesnt do it for me since i love QKSMS and is my preference for sms.
