Can not export contacts and app is crashing in 6.14.3

Hi,

I am using Simple Contacts 6.14.3, stock MIUI 12, not rooted

Launched Contacts -> Tapped Export Contacts -> Choose filename to export -> Tapped Ok button to save

When pressed OK button for saving contacts to .vcf file Contacts app is crashing and closing immediately without any notification/error/message. We had no issues in older versions.

I dont see any related crashes in the logs. Did you get the app from Google Play, or some other source? Havent you deleted some system files, or disabled system services? Try reinstalling the app.

No i didn't. When i try to export the contacts app is crashing.

Hi ! I have the same problem with Simple Contacts v6.15.0 on Android v7.1.1. I got the app from F-Droid. I did not delete any file, the app was just installed this morning and has all permissions. Any idea ? By the way, thank you for your great Simpe Apps !

Just a detail : the export works, but the app crashes.

Thank you for your quick answer. I don't have a rooted device, and I did not disable any services (as a "basic" android user I don't really understand these tunings), but I use apps that may block them (Blokada perhaps ?). If you think that's the problem I should try while Blokada is disabled.

Not sure, you can try I guess. Dont you have the app installed on an SD card?

I checked, the app is installed on the mobile internal memory, not on the SD card. This crash is far from critical, as I don't export my contacts everyday :) The export function works well (except the crah of the app just after, that happened when I tried to export on the internal memory as well as on the SD card). First I thought that the export was not done because of the crash, but I found the vcf file (so nice this export function to save everything !).
