FR: Display only nicknames in the contact list if it is defined in the entry

Coming from communities where we mainly use nicknames and don't know by heart people's real name, it would be nice to have a toggle option in the parameters to only display nicknames in the contact list for the contacts for which it is defined.

As it does not seem too complicated I am willing to try to implement it, but I am far from expert in Android development. So tips and advice are welcome.

I would also love to hide the middle names ... An option field where you can select how the display name should look like would be great! With options like "sur + firstname", "first + surname", "first + middle + surname", "nickname", ...

Please make this also available in the dialer app (through the commons?!).

This would be a very welcome feature. You should be able to customize, per contact, what is shown. It's strange to see the full name plus prefix for every contact.
