Feature Request: Import a contact from QR code
Hello, it would be an interesting feature of the Simple Contacts to have the possibility of importing the contact by reading the QR code using the phone built-in camera. The QR code could contain the contact data in the MeCard format and eventually also in the vCard format.
Last but not least. I would like to say you did really great job with the programming of the Simple Mobile Tools application suite. Admirable work indeed.
Hello @serega404, it looks good 👍. Does the modified (modified with your code) application allow to import a new contact by reading the QR code with the phone built-in camera? It is not clear from the screenshot.
My code is only for exporting contacts as QR codes. In my code, I decided not to implement a QR scanner because there are third-party programs that do the same
Still unwanted feature? Do I really need to download an extra app now that I can do this? Especially since this is standard on every new smartphone with the contacts app. Sad that the pr gets rejected.
