Support groups as own vCards when synced from Nextcloud

It seems the groups implementation this app uses does not follow the official "spec" or so.

At least the groups that are used and set in Nextcloud do not appear locally when synced.

They are synced as "contact groups are own vCards.

Uuups, I just re-read the guide and it says one should choose "groups are per-contact categories" there. If you do so, the groups in the app here work too.

However, obviously support for the other method would be good, too. (see "other methods are supported on server side")

Good that you re-read ;) As Nextcloud contacts app does not support Groups as vcards, why (and how?) should this be implemented? For the sake of of "never touch a running system" I strongly hope that @tibbi will NOT change anaything in this context :-)

Well, I do not have insights into how that technically works. I thought of a compatibility layer or so…

But yeah, if it is really a broken/bad user configuration only and ut seems it was (my fault :innocent:) then I would agree you can close this as "user error, hard to work around, better properly configure your app". :upside_down_face: :blush:
