Alarms (tab) - GUI / functional bug.

Open malick-2892 opened this issue 2 years ago • 8 comments

Version: Simple-Clock: 5.6.1 (and its predecessors) android: 5.1.1 device: SM-J320F

Symptoms:

Steps to recreate the issue: Homescreen clock widget -> click (tap) Alarms tab -> click (tap) If one swipes any existing entries on the list to either left (disable) or right (enable) the switch animates but the state doesn't change actually. The is no text popup or any graphical effect. Now, if You exit the app and get back to it You can actually see the current state and may notice the state of the alarm in question has NOT changed. Again, this issue occurs only when You slide/swipe a switch. If You click (tap) on the switch You can see state change immediately with proper text confirmation pop-up - expected behaviour. This issue could be considered an inconvenience only, but I'm letting devs know - because I can ;)

Otherwise this product and the rest of the SMT (SimpleMobileTools) family apps are great! Splendid jobs guys/gals! I've switched to the SMT apps almost entirely now. Regards!

this app has been abandoned already, you should find an alternative. I can keep it here though

Top of Your head, You recommend any specific app from the SMT family @tibi? Swift reply/support btw. ~10mins is impressive :)

@tibbi Are You able to pin "application retired/sunset" announcement on top of the issue list Tibor? That way people might be able to spot the announcement and not to throw any unnecessary request towards You guys.

Sorry, a bit of miscommunication on my part I think. I thought You retired the Clock app in spite of new one, even though I've not check spectrum of apps available. I had different clock app from google play previously, but being privacy-aware consumer switched to SMT Clock, hence my standpoint. Thank You for the follow up Tibor @tibbi ;) Regards!
