Alarm volume ramp does not work if phone is unlocked
Hi! o)
I installed SimpleClock because the stock clock application on my Vivo X23 ((Android 9.1) does not feature a volume increase for the alarm sound. A sensibly loud alarm is what I want, but it should not pull my socks off or knock me from the chair if it goes off.
I was please to find that SimpleClock can ramp up the volume, but this only seems to work when the phone is locked (and not charging?). I use the mentioned phone as an alarm clock and utility phone at home, so it's always on the charger and never locked.
Maybe you or somebody else find some time and like to look into it, thank you in advance! o)
Similar here (SHIFT6mq, Android 10). The ramp up of the volume is active for my alarm. However, in fact the volume is either ramped up extremely short or not at all.
My alarm is usually going off while the phone is charging, so the scenario matches with the one initially described. However I did not test further scenarios up to now.
Is there anything I could do about it as an user or is there already a fix scheduled?
