Please add feature auto-repeat to countdown timer

I would like to hear an alarm every 15 (or other arbitrary number) minutes. For instance if I start the timer at 3:00, then I want it to alarm at 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, and so on. And once I start the repeating timer, I want it to run and alarm without requiring any more interaction from me. I am imagining that "auto-repeat" could be a checkbox on the timer screen just like "Vibrate" already is.

So, could this feature be added? How much work do you think it would take? Do you know of any other Android app that has this functionality? I prefer to get Android apps from F-Droid.

I am a programmer myself, and although I have no experience with Android apps or Kotlin, I have studied and programmed in Java, and I am able to learn new programming languages. So, I could maybe implement this feature, but I would need some guidance. But after my initial learning curve, I could probably be somewhat independent.
