Default Start Time and Duration Settings Not Working

Open KevinMikeKaupert opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

Bug Description:

I have encountered a bug in the calendar app where the settings for new appointments are not functioning as intended. Specifically, the default start time (current time) and default duration (15min) settings do not work. When creating a new event by tapping on the calendar, it consistently generates an appointment with a duration of one hour, starting from the beginning of the current hour and ending at the end of the current hour.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Open the calendar app.
  • Navigate to the "Settings" section.
  • Adjust the default start time and default duration settings to your desired values.
  • Save the changes.
  • Return to the main calendar view.
  • Attempt to create a new event by tapping on the calendar at any time.

Expected Behavior:

The new event should respect the default start time and default duration settings specified in the settings.

Additional Information:

Device: Mi 11 Lite 5G, Android 13 TKQ1.220829.002 App Version: 6.22.2 Pro, from Fdroid Date of Occurrence: 12.09.2023

This bug significantly affects the usability of the calendar app. Please let me know if you require any further information to address this issue.

that setting is not about the weekly view. Anyway, will consider changing it in the future.

Ah, okay, I just tried it in the day view, and that works for me for now. Thanks for the suggestion. It's great that you're considering implementing it in the weekly view as well. By the way, it's a nice app otherwise!
