Better 2x2 event list widget

Hi, I've been using simple calendar for a while, and I'd like to suggest for a change to be made that I think it would improve the 2x2 event list widget. Currently, in my phone, this widget is not too practical, as it has too big of a font size, and too many buttons. It may look like this because my phone is on the lower end of screen resolutions (1600x720, which is plenty for a 6.5" screen), but I think that the widget could work as well while being simpler. Currently, this is how the widget looks I've made a quick mockup in inkscape of how I think it could also work: The list of events could be scrollable, containing all the events for the week (or it could be configurable), and when touching on an specific event, it could open it for editing. When touching on the date, it could open the day view for that day, thus allowing the adding of more events. I think that something like that would improve this widget.
