[feature request] month view - Add a widget to quickly previsualize a single day's events while staying month view

Hi. First of all, thanks a lot for your amazing work ! Really appreciated ! Simple calendar has become my main calendar app fir a while.

But I really miss a "little" feature: I'm using month view every day because I've to manage events that are mainly whole day events. I often need to have a quick look to some events, as in months view events descriptions are truncated (and it's absolutely good). But I do not want to pass to single day view when I click on a day because:

  • I have to manually go back to month view with back button, it's quite annoying to do many times to check many days details (and day view is not an answer as the days I've to check are usually absolutely not consecutives
  • I "loose" the last day I've clicked when going back to month view: I often do not remember "where I was looking at" when coming back from the month view

I'd love to be able to have something like this: Screenshot_20220610_135935

This implies to add a concept of "currently selected day" (in black on this screenshot) that have details.

  • touching inside this widget opens the day view
  • touching the same day again closes the widget
  • touching another day closes the widget and opens another one for the new touched day

What do you think about ?

Another approach would be to enhance the daily view with some sort of "peak into the week/month around the day". E.g. what I mentioned in https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/Simple-Calendar/issues/1749#issuecomment-1153647349 .

Basically Simple Calendar does seem to lack a notion of the context as by switching between views one still has the feeling of losing much of the previous context. I think that is the primary motivation for such requests for enhancement .
