Event that goes from one day to another, does not spawn across midnight

Problem: event that goes from one day to another, does not spawn across midnight

Version 6.17.3 Pro

If you create an event like this:

  • starting at 23h00 and ends on next day at 7h00
  • repeat daily
  • stop repeating after 5 occurrences

It does not shows correctly on the calendar, only shows the 23h to 00h and 00h up to 07h are missing. Only the last day is correct, that goes from Friday 23h up to Saturday 07h.

Option "Show events spanning across midnight at the top bar" is disabled.

Note that this worked on some of the past versions, but this problem is on the last 2 or 3 versions as far as I remember

is that related to the repetition? Do simpler events show up well?

This event shows the friday to saturday correctly, that is the last day of the event. It should show 0h to 7h on all other days.

All other events that I create with same pattern, repeat 5 days, 8 hours, they are ok if they are on the same day.

This looks like a problem in the weekly view.

I've created the following 2 events:

  • event S2: repeat 5 days, 8 hours, starting 15h to 23h
  • event S3: repeat 5 days, 8 hours, starting 23h to 7h, next day

After creating event S2 it was correct on the view. After creating event S3, this is how the calendar looks like and it messes with event S2 and that is not correct. It should be apart because they don't mix. On the other hand, looks like S3 is recognized to go the next day because S2 gets thinner.

Thank you.

2 events created, repeating 2 days for 8 hours, same pattern as previous examples, but first 2 are on the same day, from 16 to 00h. The other is from 17h to 01h next day. The view gets really strange as it show's the first event to go beyond the 00h of day 16. Event 2 also behaves like my previous report, only the last day is shown correctly, like the picture, one hour is missing on day 17h from 0 to 01h and the day 18 is correct.

Sorry for those long images, noticed now they are way bigger than I wanted.

Just to prove that this worked before, downloaded version 6.15.2 and it works as expected. Events should be shown in the next day, continuing from 0 hours. This is what I was talking about.

Don't know if you tried to fix this on 6.17.4 but it still shows it wrong as I reported. I was using 6.15.2 and it is ok on that version. Thanks
