Android widget not auto advancing days/events

Hi, after I created the widget on the home page events are still present (though greyed out) after passing, and I would have to manually scroll through the widget to see events for the next day.

what app version are you using? Which widget you mean at all?

Hi, app version 6.17.1, and added the widget to the home page for Nova Launcher. See below:

Events that have taken place are still in the calendar by default (unless they take on Google Calendar properties of being dimmed instead of hiding) and I have to manually scroll down to see next events.

Thanks for pushing the update out it seems to have addressed this issue for the time being - I only saw it happen again only once yesterday. Will keep testing & providing feedback.

Hi @tibbi , I too experience this bug. I'm on Calyx OS Android 12. It would be really nice that the widget autoadvanced events and time of day. I'm experiencing this bug on both Today and Weekly view.

Thank you so much !

Reviving this to confirm that I too have this issue on Android 11 + Nova launcher. I managed to reproduce it on other launchers as well. I thought this could be due to my locale (my tz is Europe/Amsterdam but my language is set to en_us) so I tried to play around with it but it didn't solve the issue.
