Monthly, Monthly and Daily, and Yearly View Option Not Going to Correct Date

Awesome option to continue selecting monthly and monthly/daily to go back a month. However, first selection of the view including yearly don't consisistently go to current date. It jumps around. Using version 6.17.0.

1. Open calendar and go to either yearly, monthly, or monthly/daily with selecting once and it doesn't always go to current day by default. I understand selecting more than once does go back a month on monthly and monthly/daily view. By default first time selection should be current date.

it is the current by default, but if you go to a different day and change to some bigger range view, it will focus on that selected date instead of the current one

Thanks but I'm wanting focus on current day always each time I change view. It doesnt focus on current day when changing in the stated views. Day and week are always correct.
