Auto-fill end-date/end-time issue

Open atom-smasher opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

From a different app, I have an option to "Add to calendar". I tap that, and it brings me to Simple-Calendar and fills in most of the blanks with sensible values.

Unfortunately, it fills in the end-time/end-date of the calendar event with the current date/time. Until I manually edit that end-date/end-time to be later than the start-date/start-time, I can not save the new event.

What should happen: The end-date/end-time should be filled with a sensible value, perhaps one hour later than the start-date?

thats how it should work already. In what app are you clicking Add to calendar? Maybe they are sending us the dates and times to be filled out too.

The app I'm using it with is "Trade Me Property" v3.11.2 - https://trade-me-property.en.aptoide.com/app

If that app is sending an end-date/end-time that's earlier than the start-date/start-time, then I'd guess that Simple-Calendar should be able to detect and "clean up" that input, maybe with a notice.

Let me know if there's a way logcat/grep for clues.
