Google calendar shows html code

Open MartinX3 opened this issue 4 years ago • 9 comments

My google calendar entries use html code, because google forces it. Sadly the calendar appdoesn't remove it. So I can't read my descriptions.

Outlook also uses HTML in event description. I think it would be nice render those HTML descriptions, since it's fairly common for corporate calendars to have them.

I would also really like this. It doesn't have to be a full html engine, it only needs the text formatting stuff, like span, br, probably lists, and those kind of stuff. No css or javascript.

I also have the problem, that Outlook shows HTML Code. But the weird thing is: It just shows up, if the outlook app is the getting the dates. Is an Android Exchange account getting the dates, the HTML Code is not seen.

Glad I had notifications on for this issue, because now I'm gonna follow fossify, and transition to the fossify apps (when they get released).
