Position not preserved when item removed from daily view

When I remove (or add) an item from a simple event list, the (scroll) position of the list is preserved. For a daily view, it resets position to the beginning. It is quite inconvenient when you have many (30+) items for a given day and want to move 10 of them from 22:00 to an another day/week/month. You have to scroll it down again and again after every operation.

Steps to reproduce

0. Have more items for a given day than a "capacity" of the screen (scrolling is needed to set the last ones).
1. Switch to Daily view.
2. Scroll down to see the last element (or any which not fit the screen in the original position).
3. Open it and remove.

Expected behavior:

List (scroll) position is preserved - there are still visible (other) items from the end of a day

Current behavior

The list position is reset to the first element.

Additional info

It works as expected for a simple event view, but fails for a daily view.

6.16.1 Pro, but I believe, it was preset even before the recent refactoring.
