Auto: Swap gbm::predict.gbm for raster::predict

gbm.auto.R L1389 & 1399. Do 'grids' objects satisfy the raster constraint of raster::predict's object param? RasterStack or RasterBrick? Or would have to convert? More trouble than it's worth for a section that takes a bit of time but is 1 & done?
