UNC paths not supported

I'm trying to use WSA in a domain environment where some user folders are redirected to a file server.

Every app I try to install results in a failure error "UNC paths are not supported"

Is this due to where WSA Tools is trying to install the app or some other part of the process? If I know what paths it is using I can have our admins stop redirection for certain paths/apps.
