since it currently lacks this by default, and many users (me included) really need this, i suggest that you add it to the app, thank you

What kind of help are you looking for? I support the feature request.

It would be really useful for at least two situations : install obb files for games and upload media to social network using native android app.

hopefully more people upvote and comment on this so the dev works on it sooner (or ever x))

I've investigated this a bit. Looks like adb push and pull are blocked.

Will update on this when I have more details!

You may check https://github.com/HarshalKudale/EasySideload-WSA I use it and works very well, although it looks rough

Weird. I've tried ADB push and it gave me an error. Have you rooted/installed the Play Store by any chance? If I recall correctly, those modify the Subsystem to allow for those commands

there's also this app i found here that allows just that and its works quite well (although i prefer the design of your app), also im using an unmodified version of WSA with no root or the Play Store installed

Nope, stock WSA

Just checked again, adb push/pull works. It's adb shell that is blocked, which would be great to get info about the files and the folders inside the subsystem. Let's see how we can get around that 👀
