Does magic stat increase magic dmg?

Magic dmg is a vanilla attribute that some magic mods use, I really need an RPGstat mod that has an int or magic stat that scales with magic dmg, and I need to know if this mod does that? I didn't know where else to ask seeing as there's no comments or discord. the wiki says it enhances potions, IDK if that'd mean it enhances magic dmg or it just enhances potions
