Enable Folder Templates has no effect
Plugin information (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 10
- Templater version: 1.12.0
- Obsidian version: 0.14.6
- Templater settings: "Enable Folder Templates" Checked
Describe the bug I have "Enable Folder Templates" checked, setup the Template location for some folder, yet newly created note in those folder will still start empty without any templates applied, regardless whether I create the new note from right click or by short-cut.
Expected behavior Based on how I understand this setting should work, the newly created note should have the corresponding template already applied? Thank you!
Have you tried enabling Trigger on New File Creation?
Yes I have that enabled as well

I have also seen this problem. On latest insider build but happened on last few builds. I use periodic notes and have the template set to trigger on note creation at the top level of my daily notes. Hierarchy is 2022/month/daynote and I have the template set to trigger on the 2022 level.
I just confirmed templater do have conflict with Filename and Heading Sync plugin. After I turn-off that plugin's auto-sync on file open feature it's working fine now.

I am not using that plugin and have the issue.
i think i figured out my issue. Using calendar or jump-to-date plugin and selecting a future date, the folder the note is created in is not where periodic notes uses and hence the match properly won't trigger. Not sure if this is periodic -notes or a change to the base obsidian. I am using latest insider build

I use 1.1.9 version, Linux and it does not work.
Is it any work around it? Because I have no idea how to fix it.
