Silent start

Hi, Is it possible to give us a checkbox for a silence start of sidekick? With this option checked, sidekick will start without an popup of update check or initialization. So it would be nicer to start sidekick with Windows startup.

Thanks for the suggestion. We would need to have a way to show an error screen in case an error occurs during startup. Otherwise this is doable for sure :)

We are making not initialization screen not be a modal (forced to be on top of everything else). In addition, we are able to bypass the home screen (by unchecking the checkbox bottom right) after the initialization. Is this enough or do you need the initialization to be truly hidden?

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I'm happy with anything that makes Sidekick more useful for me and others, so I'm really happy about your idea. If it might start without a window at some point in the future, that sounds great. Thanks a lot!

I just had the thought whether it’s really necessary to show the initialization process via GUI and progress bar. Couldn't you simply close the GUI after the update check? Just something to consider. Best regards
