Random freezes after about 15 minutes of usage

I'm facing random freezes after about 15 minutes of usage that are leading me to force reboot the laptop

things I've done to try to fix:

  1. remove Bootstrap folder
  2. update to OpenCore 0.6.7
  3. update kexts to their latest version
  4. remove AirportBrcmFixup.kext
  5. remove BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext
  6. remove BrcmFirmwareData.kext
  7. remove BrcmPatchRAM3.kext
  8. resetting NVRAM

unfortunately the system keeps freezing
