"resized waveguide" shows up outside of the original cell

I was able to follow everything in the Hierarchical Layout tutorial. Except that I am seeing a funny/awkward result from the "Resizing Waveguide" function. When I descend to any particular MZI and use it to resize the length of a waveguide the resized waveguide actually shows up outside of the original cell. I can readily identify the resized waveguide as an individual element that is not associated with the original grouped cell.

Btw, this issues seems to go away once you save, close the file, and then reopen the file. Not sure why...
