Custom properties not added to the cart in Bistro theme

Express - Bistro and Express - Pantry themes are experiencing an error on our platform ReCharge apps whenever a customer attempts to add a ReCharge product to the cart. When the add to cart is called the error message rendered in the console is Uncaught TypeError: Theme Cart: Variant ID must be a number. Our platform creates a hidden form field, that contains the subscription ID alongside the normal product ID and we have found that the themes selectors are unable to view this button.
