Opportunity: Scalability, efficiency and consistency for both use internal and external. A design system is made up of reusable components, guidelines, that can assembled together to build custom storefronts across multiple verticals.

Overview

Coming out of creating a demo store, we have a collection of commerce components used to makeup a Hydrogen storefront. Each component has not only been designed thoughtfully in the code to include best practices but also UX.

Where this would live is still a question, Hydrogen dev docs? In addition we could consider Figma Design Tokens

This has been a conversation amongst the team and almost made into a hackday.

Motivation

We want to help teams work more efficient right out of the gate by providing them with a design system of reusable tokenized components.
