I was just updating nemesis after installing some mods and it's telling me 'ERROR(6001): An exception has occured while updating. Report to Nemesis' author immediately'

The launcher is currently unable to close, and is not functioning. Help?

I use Vortex and have the same problem. Here is my solution: First I use the "Purge Mods" to restore the game unmodded, then redeploy them. It works for me, if you do not use Vortex, I think there is a similar feature such as "Purge Mods" in MO or other Mods Manager.
