We make bookings way ahead of time. We rely on sending mails and messages to our asset pickers with instructions. We would benefit from being able to do reminders from booking pages themselves.

Enable reminders from within a booking (currently possible from within an asset)

Bookings already send emails when certain states are reached. Maybe we can instead stick to that and add more information emails about this. As long as we define the point in time they should be sent and what the emails should be, we can do it.
@DonKoko I have been thinking about this a lot. I put some comments about this inside of my other feature request #1956
I think in the settings there should be a tool that allows for Email Templates + Schedules. Each template would have an assigned schedule. Templates should have the ability to include dynamic data from user information {name}, {due date}, {items list}, etc.
There should be the option to set different templates & schedules as defaults for certain types of users or checkout types. The defaults should be able to be overridden (or select additional templates/schedules) during the booking process.
