Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe?
I'm trying to set up a bunch of assets, and have the shelf app open on my computer where I also have other info such as invoices for the items and our google workspace admin interface - as well as just having a better keyboard than on my phone. However, I don't have a good mobile camera connected to this computer.
After setting up all the assets I'd like to grab my phone and go snap pictures of them all in rapid succession somehow, however right now I have to go into each asset individually, click edit, click upload file, select if I want to use the camera or file picker, take a photo, navigate our of that asset and into the next one and repeat
Describe the solution you'd like
A workflow to snap photos of a select subset of assets or all assets without an image, for example:
- Select "all without photos" or "select multiple" with a list you can easily filter down based on category, tag, kit etc and either select one by one or select all returned by the filter
- this opens a view inside shelf that probably uses the MediaDevices API, the current device to photo is shown on top, there's a camera preview (and probably controls to swap the front/back camera and toggle the flash) and a shutter button.
- Once you click the shutter the image freezes and you get to click "approve" or "retake". Once approved it moves onto the next asset and shows the camera again
