Bred pokemon don't inherit parents' level up moves

Breeding two Brelooms that know Spore should yield a Shroomish that knows Spore, as it's a legal level up move which can be inherited as long as both parents know it. (According to Bulbapedia.) This doesn't happen and I get an Egg that hatches into a Shroomish with its default lvl 5 moveset of Absorb/Tackle/Stun Spore.

Inheriting TMs and Egg Moves seems to work though, as I did have a Paras inherit False Swipe from a male Scizor, and a Gible inherit Metal Claw from a male Duralodon.
