Issues with doors
I found myself being soft locked twice because of doors. In my last world I accidentally broke my door while inside my house and was unable to build a new one with machop so I was stuck in my house indefinitely. In my current world I tried putting two doors next to each other just in case one broke but then the second door would turn into a wall that could still be used like a door that would then disappear after a few seconds. after entering through the wall/door, it would disappear from under me and I would be stuck in a black space unable to move.
Use an escape rope.
I had this issue today. I built the house on snow and it had two windows around the door on the outside.
